I study how monetary policy, shared shocks, and institutions shape economic adjustment and growth. My work brings together macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and business analytics.
This study examines U.S. state price convergence while accounting for shared national shocks and cross-sectional dependence. It highlights how econometric specification changes our understanding of regional adjustment.
Compared with 12.12 years in an uncorrected specification.

Teaching
Connecting economic models with current data, policy choices, and practical decisions.
Approach
I use evidence-based, discussion-centered instruction to help students identify assumptions, explain economic mechanisms, and evaluate competing interpretations.
My courses combine quantitative exercises and real-world applications with scaffolded assignments, transparent expectations, and frequent checks for understanding.
